A little bit about me as a person...I have a miniature schnauzer, Skipper, who thinks he’s top-dog (and I encourage this!)  I also enjoy hiking and biking and being near water; just about anything outdoors that involves moving and seeing God’s spectacular creation.  I love life and my community and all of the people that are in both of them. I recognize that we thrive in relationship and especially enjoy that with our Lord. I also love my "work" and the clients whom I am blessed to be able to see and help. I was called to counsel in 2012 and would love to talk with you.

I am a professional clinical member of National Christian Counselors Association and member of American Association of Christian Counselors.  I graduated summa cum laude from Liberty University (GO Flames!) with a degree in Psychology and a specialization in Christian counseling.  I have additional licensing and certifications in Temperament therapy and education and training in Clinical Christian Counseling through National Christian Counselors Association. I have taught Sunday school in the past, and I also interned with a local human services agency where I focused on building therapeutic alliances with clients and families for treating behavioral and emotional issues, promoting prosocial skills and behavior modification with generalizations to other domains through modeling, role-playing, and performance feedback, helping with skill-development involving peer interaction, self-expression, anger management, problem-solving, and impulse control.  I have been counseling in private practice since 2020 seeing individuals, couples, parents and children.  My office is located inside of Stone Memorial Christian Church in Collinsville, VA.
